Please list your styling products that give your hair a nice shine; I have been looking for one for ages. I find gels are good but I can't stand the fact that they leave my hair stiff. Any products that give you shine without the heavy hold? Many thanks.
SILK ELEMENTS Glossing Polish. I've found it to be effective on medium-length hair that has been straightened and needs some "togetherness" for an updo. It offers a water-free shine and stick-free hold. Has aloe vera in it.
Also MOTIONS Shine enhancing pomade is great on all lengths of natural hair. Used it on my daughter's hair for her 3-year old daycare pics. All hairs were in place 'til the last snap! It smells kind of like nail polish (Still hadn't figure out what that is, yet) but it's good.
Finally, It's a Black Thang Bee's Wax. Not so shiny, but it holds well, and smells like cherries.
i agree- MOTIONS Shine enhancing pomade (this is good for holding hair in place)
i also like my mix of la india + castor oil= good shine in my hair! i add peppermint oil and sulphur powder when i put it on my scalp- aww i love the tingle!!!
Virgin coconut oil, just a small dab gives dazzling shine! I love it.
Actually, most of my natural butters and oils I use give great shine. The key is not using too much, otherwise it can just make your hair look dull.
When I were my hair curly, I like Fantasia IC Gel w/ Saprkelites for hold & Shine.
When I don't want to use gel I use:
the Keracare Glossifier
Elucence Shine Spray
I also love love love CD Health Hair Butter & CD Hair Balm. (Recent Discovery)
