 I don't know how to do that!!!! I tried, I promise I did!!!

Here's the link to the page w/the strip... if somebody else can make it bigger, I'd appreciate it!

http://comics.com/wash/watch/archive/watch-20070128.html

It's more thought-provoking than funny, though....
What I did:

I went to the website, right-clicked on the image itself and chose "Save Picture As." Once I saved the picture, I then went to http://tinypic.com, uploaded the image, and then copied the URL (the one that says URL Link: for email and instant messenger) and then I clicked on the picture icon (the little mountain with a yellow background) and pasted the link in. You could also paste the one above it (the img link for forums) directly into the thread if you didn't wanna go the route I did. :)

Thank you!:)

That's just unfair - I think. If I came home, BALD, my hubby MIGHT have a few words for me - esp. if I sprung it on him. And I think that's the situation in most relationships, about most things..... don't just spring stuff on me, and I'll be more supportive.

I'm not sure what point the comic was trying to make (and what's up with the picture of her with long straight hair in the background? I'm just saaayyyiinnnnnnn.....)

This is really funny b/c this comic strip is EXACTLY what I did! My husband was trippin and I went a shaved my hair bald just like the woman on the comic strip. He was not happy about it. Thats what lead me to become natural. I always wanted to go natural but didnt know how. A shaved head was just the opprotunity to do it. :D

You can also RIGHT CLICK on the picture to see the properties to get the URL of the photo itself, which is http://comics.com/wash/watch/archive/images/watch20070121047248.gif and put it in as a photo (the little button with the mountain and sun on it)

I'm sure you looked great with a shaved head natural lady.

I have always wanted to shave my head but my head is flat as I don't know what in the back.:ohwell: I always thought shaved heads looked great and regal like on women with hooks in the back.

I don't know what the comic strip was really trying to say though?:perplexed I guess one needed to be on the inside of the creators head to get it. Maybe its a personal thang:confused: Maybe its a subliminal message:confused: Maybe maybe maybe oh wth!:look:

lol i did the same thing. hubby helped me finish shaving it, but i had a huge birthmark on m head i forgot about. so i wore a wig until some of my hair grew in. i asked my mom, did you know i had a birthmark on my head, she was like yeah. i said well you could have told me. she said you knew you had a birthmark there. i thought about it and said oh yea, i just forgot. my husband said. that will teach you to shave your head after working 12 hour night shift.

I thought it was cute. I laughed out loud when I noticed the picture of her with long straightened hair on the dresser. I think it brings to light how we women have these amazing reasons for wanting to go natural. However, sometimes it takes your SO a little while to get on board.

Wow that is a bold statment she is making .... I could not image cutting off my hair if my husband did not support my choice of styles.....

I where my hair any way I want too.

i didn't think it was about hair as much as i thought it was a drastic change made in a persons life. i thought the pic on the dressing table was used to explain why her husband would be shocked that she is now bald. hair was being used as an example.

maybe it is about hair but thats not what i took from it.

ETA: no, this didn't happen to me. i braced my husband for my big chop!
