Has anyone tried this? I wanted to try to help relax my curls. I am natural and my curls are very tight. They r cork screw shaped and my hair is very frizzy fluffy. I was going to texlax but really don't want to do that. Has this mix worked for anyone to just make the curls relax alittle. I currently have a quater size patch that is very thin around my edges. I have been using pep, rsoemary, and castor mix for growth. I am trying to relax the curls so they will cover the patches until they grow in or my hair gets longer.

Help me please. What is the original mix . I tried search and could not pull it up.

It won't 'relax' or 'texlax' your hair - it's not that major of a change. It'll make it softer, and easier to detangle, and it MIGHT loosen your curls a bit til the next wash so that they hang more/have less shrinkage - at least that's the general consensus.

I'm subbed to the original thread - I'll bump it for ya.
