I'm taking my braids out this weekend and dread having to deal with this dry, DRY hair of mine. I'm about two seconds away from ordering Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme because of the raves I've heard here about how it moisturizes, but before I do, can somebody PLEASE recommend a super moisturizing hair butter that works great on natural 4A/B hair? I need something I can just run out and get from my local BSS.

Thanks!

Try:
Qhemet Olive & Amla heavy cream butter (love this!)
Keracare oil moisturizer (great as well)
ORS olive oil lotion (good product!)
aloe vera gel mixed with glycerin

Hope that helps

Thank you, CM! The aloe vera/glycerin mixture sounds interesting -- I think I'll give that a try.

Avocado butter. You might have to order it but it moisturizes my hair a lot better than CB.

ETA: Actually, I use it to seal in moisture, but my hair retains the moisture a lot better after I use avocado butter. I haven't found a butter yet that moisturizes my hair.
