Naturals and Twistouts

I only wear them once, so yes I retwist at night. The one time I didn't out of laziness, I ended up with a tangled mess. For me, sleeping with my hair loose is not only a crime but an abomination. :nono: My hair has to be braided or twisted before I call it a night.

I do twistouts often and I retwist nightly--it normally takes me about 20 minutes to retwist and it's worth it to have a fresh look the following day.

Some days I can get away with just retwisting the front and banding the back--but the next night I definitely have to retwist the whole head.

I am able to retain length and it keeps my hair from getting too tangled as it gets longer and makes washing much easier.

Thanks, I am trying to wear my hair out more, and I do like the look of the twist out but I was a little afraid because I hear not to keep the ends out in the air.

i've been pinning my twist outs up in the back. If I were to leave it down I would seal the ends when I twist at night.

I do find I need to (flat) twist every night. I'm trying to get the process to 10 mins or less so it won't seem so daunting when i'm tired.

I just got turned on to curl activator and my hair is enjoying it!

...and honeycomb, your hair is still looking LOVELY!

When I twist damp using curly nikki's twist and curl method I get 2 days out of my hair. when I flat twist I get a single day worth of wear.
