I have heard good things about Aveda color...I may have to look into it one day.I have very fragile hair and the key for me was to do an Aveda colour which is very gentle on the hair (can only be done at an Aveda Salon or Institute) because they use plant based colours. Also, not to go too far up on the colour chart or risk damage unless your hair is strong. My natural hair colour is a 2 (off black) and I went up to a 5. I use protein treatments to keep breakage from occurring. I like it because even when the colour grows out it looks natural and I have absolutely no damage.

oh wow, that's amazing. Is it permanent, or semi-permanent, and how does it affect your hair e.g. dryness, loss of elasticity etc.
just ran to go get the bottle...
its a rinse... semi permanent.... it doesnt damage my hair at all....ive been using it for a while now.. the only harm is my fingertips turning pink on when i first wash iterplexed other than that its some good stuff... it reminds me of a rinse that i used to use back in the day by jerome russell called punky colors... btw the site is www.manicpanic.com

This website is really interesting. Since they aren't permanent I could see myself testing some off the wall colors on my hair. Maybe I could revive the original Kellis look.![]()
make it happen!!!![]()
