Aloe Vera has some UV blocking properties... Maybe spray the juice on your hair?

Really, anything that you coat your hair with will protect it from the elements, including the sun, which is why I think it is important to use some kind of product, even if it's just conditioner. Vitamin E also provides sun protection.

Olive oil and sesame oil is one too
