O.K. I know heat is a very bad thing. But when I take my braids out for a couple of weeks, I HAVE TO BLOWDRY. I can't do the shake and go thing and the kinks are completely uncooperative.
So if and when you blow dry, what do you use to help smooth the hair and protect hair from the heat?

I like New Image Damage Free Thermal Active Conditioning Styler (a discontinued Sally's item), Frizz Ease Wind Down Cream and Physique Spiral Cream (they changed the name recently, but I don't remember what it is!

Sorry!)

I bought some Proclaim Straightening Gel from Sally's but I haven't tried it yet... KMS Flat Out Relaxing Balm is supposed to be good, too.

Frizz Ease also make a wind down creme for relaxed hair. That may provide some protection from the heat as well.
