I need a natural oil to use on my hair and my daughter. I need something that will moisturize really good while leaving it soft without drying the hair out. I tried using the root stimulatot carrot and olive oil and it was so drying and left a brittle feel to out hair. I found an old bottle of vitamin e oil and applied some. Does anyone have any suggestions on another natural oil?

I second on the jojoba oil- make sure it is 100% jojoba oil

Castor oil works well too but it is very thick so if you wish you can dilute it with another oil for good results

well, i would recommend jojoba and sweet almond. you could mix both together. sweet almond is one of the most moisturising oils

I agree with Dolapo, Sweet almond & jojoba works well for me when I use them. The other oils (olive, coconut, etc.) I have to mix with shea butter or into something else or my hair gets hard.
