Has anyone used it? I can't do a search for some reason so thought I'd ask. I just bout a box and it claims to have no ammonia and low peroxide. I have permed ends throughout my head (I've not permed since Mar 05) and am afraid I am really going to damage my hair. Can someone confirm/deny that this is a good product??? I want to color tonight if possible....

I've used it once, it was okay and it didn't reek like other types but it washed out too quickly.
I think it's fine if you don't shampoo every day, but I do so it doesn't work for me.

I bought this a few months back but never used b/c I wasn't sure if i should follow the directions to a "T". I think the directions are to "apply color, rinse, then apply conditioning treatment". Is anyone shampooing before conditioning? Also, isn't this product no ammonia, low peroxide. Is the peroxide damaging to relaxed hair?

TIA

I used #26 in Feb or March. It worked ok, I never noticed any damage. I'm natural by the way, so that may make a difference since my hair isn't already processed. It didn't tint my hair a light brown like I thought it would, it tinted it reddish colour that mostly shows up in the sunlight. It's aight, but if I don't know if I'll ever bother with it again.

do NOT shampoo. I wouldnt shampoo my hair for at least a week after I applied the color. I used it before adn it didnt damage my relaxed hair.

Ahhhh! Don't use the black one. I used Natural Instincts for years, but I always used browns and reds and loved them. The last time, I choose black it was disaster! My hair was crunchy and hard and took months to recover. :(

Hold up yall,

I guess I missed this initially somewhere. I just read the directions and it says to not wash your hair. HUH? How is rinsing going to be enough to get all the chemicals out of the hair?

I haven't done the color yet but me thinks I will go get a refund...

eta: by the way I got #32 Egyptian Plum
