Natural Gelatin Pills for Hair Growth????

Has anyone heard of taking gelatin pills for hair growth? My mom just bought some hair pills that contain 1000mg of natural gelatin along with biotin and b-5.

I think it makes sense gelatin is basically protein derived from the hydrolysis of collagen. I've heard that gelatin is especially good for women.

I did that before I adopted my new vitamin regimen, and I did have stronger hair because of it. Also my nails were stronger.

I actually took gelatin pills too, a while ago, and noticed that my hair was definitely stronger and grew more.. as well as stronger and longer nails
