Ladies,

I heard about this video from a friend today on YouTube. After watching it I am SO pissed off I had to share. :swearing: It's a very disturbing video of a so called "mother" trying to comb/brush her daughter's hair. The little girl has BEAUTIFUL natural hair. I guess the mom thought that this video would be funny but I strongly disagree! :nono: I'm curious to know what you all think!

(Sorry I didn't know how to attach the link to this post)

OMG I thought that video was taken down. So I am guessing no action was taken and that poor baby still resides with them?

WOW how could that behavior be acceptable? I stopped following the thread cause I fell to far behind. This is sad.

Lorrrd just let me get my hands on her...and yank her head around like that. I have never seen anything like that before. Obviously that baby is tender headed. I know several girls with hair of that texture as a matter of fact one is my niece, she cannot stand no one in here head and she is 12. Is that a plastic brush. She is obviously yanking her hair out. Why is she using profain language with that baby. Okay, that is just crazy.

:nono:I'm disgusted by that. I was so sad for the little girl and the "mom" cussing, pulling, and grabbing at that poor child needs to be arrested! Unfortunately, my mom was the same way and I've seen friends be rough with their DD hair too. I always say to them, "Don't you think you're making it worse?" and they basically respond that it's so frustrating to comb the child's hair esp. when they're tender headed. My mom used to actually hit me in the head with the brush to make me "sit right" (Oh yeah that helps). I mostly attribute this behavior to frustrated moms PMSing and taking out their own issues on their child. I think it's definitely abusive. (If it's that bad, cut the child's hair low or send them to the salon/a friend/family member, but NEVER try to deal with her hair when you're angry, tired, in a rush, or just plain "on one"):spank:

It's obvious she wasn't trying to style that lil girls hair. My mom used to get mad at me too and kinda yank me around and sometimes "pop" me and I was "tender headed"(really if she took the time to be gentle it would have been more pleasent) but after all the fussing my hair was "done" whereas at the end of that video that girl was just mad angry probably tired and sad.
