What in your regimen are trying to nail:
The products. I can't use cheap shampoos and I just realized that maybe a few days ago
I notice when I use them the products I'm used to working don't work the same and my hair often feels just coated, sometimes breaking more. But when I use my Nairobi shampoos (salon product) everything that follows works better so I'm going to try this theory out during this challenge. I also want to see how consistency with this regimen works. I've been doing this regimen with slight variations for over a year now but I changed the products that I was using and incorporated helpful oils in the past 6 months and it's then that I saw a real change. Going to get a much needed trim after my relaxer next week and keep on with this regimen with "better" products and see what this year brings.
What's your starting strategy:
Oiling scalp with safflower oil mix hours before washing
Washing with "salon" shampoos only
Sticking with a product to be sure it's working (going to use Mane 'n Tail conditioners for the next 3 months and will move to a different conditioner after for another 3 months)
Start fresh with a good trim next week and make sure to pay attention to how my hair responds to salon shampoos over time
Anything else you want to share: I hope this works lol
