Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
I've been taking my vitamins for ten days now, and for about the last three days, my urine hasn't had the same brightness. It wasn't orangey, just like a neon yellow. Now it's more of a pastel yellow. I'm taking one vitamin c pill a day, it contains 1000 mg of vit c. Should I take two instead of one? The bottle says to take one or two daily. Advice? TIA!

maybe your body is absorbing more instead of passing it straight through? hopefully someone with some expertise in biology and nutrition can help you more.

uhhhh....:sekret:

same here...except Ive just started taking my multivitamins on the regular and drinking more water....I thought that it was a good thing to have it lighter in color....

oh boy...

 I think it's a good thing when its not too yellow but it also changes depending on what you're drinking...

i always thought it was b-complex vits that made the pee bright orangey yellow? i really cant tell ya tho

It depends on how much liquid you're taking in. If you're drinking more water then your urine is more diluted so it appears lighter.

I am not a expert at all, but List all the vitamins that you are taking. That maybe to help someone that is better, because I know some vitamins can be flushed out. Umm Like vitamin A in carrot juice can be take as much as you want without any problems, but I think if you take to much vitamin A in pills it can hurt you. So list what you are taking so hopefully you are not harming yourself. And how much, hth

B doesn't turn my urine orange yellow, but more like a weird neon yellow. It does get lighter depending on what I've been drinking. So even though I do drink a lot of water, sometimes my pee color will just change during the day, because it really does depend on what I drink and when I drink it.

My urine is lighter after the gym, in fact its nearly clear with a neon yellow tent because I drink the bulk of my water there.

In the morning its a regular pee yellow, about 10am its pretty darn neon because and thats after my first set of vits of the day.

At night (after I've peed 50-11 times:lol: ) it can go back to being a bit darker neon because I try not to drink much an hour before bedtime.

Your body could be absorbing more for whatever reason or, you're checking urine after you've drank a lot of fluids (this does dilute that color quite a bit!)

*can't believe I spent a whole post talking about pee:lol: *

Thanks for all the replies! I read on a thread a while ago that you could tell your vits were bein absorbed if your urine was bright (?) I drink PLENTY of water, I'm always in the bathroom :) Okay, daily, I'm taking: two Women's Ultra Mega multi, two Ultra Nourishair, one vit c (1000 mg), two evening primrose oil (1000 mg), three flaxseed oil (1500 mg) and one kelp (150 mcg)....

well I can tell you that 99% of your urine is water and the other 1% is the bacteria that causes it to be yellow....the more water you drink the more diluted the 1% will be..thats why sometimes your urine is clear because your urine doesn't sit in your bladder all day building up bacteria. So with that said....drink drink drink (water).
