Not that you asked...but I think you should try a slightly smaller bun...when I looked at your photos the first thing I noticed was your bun and not your pretty face. You're hair is gorgeous and the bun is very elegant looking.

I love it. Did you use gel on your hair? How did you get your hair so shiny? When you have time . . . please give us a mini step-by-step.

 Lawd . . am I asking too many questions?

Thanks! I did consider a slightly smaller bun, but I did want it exaggerated last night. I will probably buy a smaller one to wear during the day if needed. I wanted a bigger bun because I wanted it seen. I didn't want to look bald or that I just slicked my hair back.

But I appreciate your consideration and suggestion to accentuate my face.

Nope, not too many questions. I actually did this dry. I used some Motions foam to start directing it up (probably 3-4 pumps). Then I did the part. Then I used Proclaim Coconut Oil mixed with a little bit of TCB Lite Hair Conditioning on my edges to smooth them out. I baggied it then tied it up while I was getting dressed.

In terms of shine, I've been doing an MN mix and sealing my ends at night, so I think that contributed to the shine. I didn't spray anything on my hair or anything.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Very cute style! One of my goals for this year is to wear a more polished buns like this (especially to work) instead of my typical messy, frizzy bun.

Pretty lady! The bun is big and you wear it well. I like mine to be "visible" from the front too so I don't look bald. ;)

I couldn't pull it off because of my face shape, but you totally rock it! It really seems to compliment your style too from what I can see in the pic. Nice and classy.

That looks very elegant on you,:yep: I like it a lot, did you use a foam bun, or create it yourself?

Thanks so much for all of the compliments!!!! Ya'll are gonna make me blush...LOL

This bun is actually a fake bun. It's called a Diva Dome...isn't that cute?!?!?! LOL

It cost $10.99 at the BSS.

Thanks!

I am wearing it today to work, but I actually wish I had a smaller one. To me the Diva Dome is a special occasion, weekend bun.

I use to have a two-toned bun like that when I first began protective styling about 2 years ago. I loved it because I could baggy under it with ease.:D
