I think this will be a keeper. I've done this style before, but it was only a one time thing ( I had to do something to my hair and when I did it, it came out great unexpectedly.) Well I decided to try it again. I washed my hair, sectioned it off into twists and allowed it to dry. While damp, I took each section and blowdried them first with the cool setting then a little on hot. I retwisted my hair and sprayed Pantene setting lotion on them. I sat under the dryer for a while and unraveled them. I wasn't happy about the way it came out (thought it would be more defined),but I think that it will set more after a day or two. The pics are in my album in the third year.

gorgeous hair and gorgeous style! i love it...it suits you very well and your hair looks very healthy! i cant wait til my hair grows out some more so i can get that big twistout look!

I do something similar. On an old blowout (maybe a week old) I will braid my hair up in plaits and then spray it lightly with water before bed. The water acts like setting lotion. In the morning I have the softest most beautiful waves. I think this trick only works for natural hair because natural hair wants to be curly. Relaxed hair needs some encouragement i.e. setting lotion.

Your hair is so pretty!! could you please tell me how you did your bantu know out on straightened hair on your year two album?

It just happened actually:lol: I straightened my hair and just sectioned my hair off in about 6 sections and twisted the hair around and spritzed Pantene setting lotion on it. Secured with bobby's.:yep:

I am trying just spritzing my hair with water instead of setting lotion. I'll take pics to show how it comes out.:yep:
