I was noticing this myself SG! I was actually going to start a post about using it as a leave in...but I felt like: That is OLD news girl.
Thanks for giving me the space to work myself up into a PJ frenzy, girl!
I used it as a rinse out and a leave in yesterday after spending the ENTIRE day in the sun. Between the sun and chlorine drying over and over again in my hair all day, my hair was fried! I used some Elucence yesterday and it felt like BUTTER when was putting it into a bun....
It still feels amazingly moisturized. I was having trouble retaining moisture in all this heat with the color and the damage I sustained from it, but my hair feels amamzing.
You know what's wierd (warning: I'm am now rambling. Please feel free to disregard everything beyond this point!
)? I have never been an Elucence fan, but I have always kept at least a small bottle on hand for PJ's sake.
Conditioners are weird on me. They work like magic, two weeks later they are horrific and so on....
Well, I hadn't used the most recent bottle I ordered until yesterday, and it was MUCH thicker than I remembered. And I mentioned how well it worked and how suprised I was at the sheer level of moisture rentention in my hair after using it. I wondered if it was just me.....
I just got it a few days back and I was all gung-ho to use it. I was a little bummed that it wasn't the miracle product described here before. Maybe this is why? But, I did pair it up with the NTM silk touch leave-in (thanks to you and the others) after using it for a co wash and I liked the comb-out results. The NTM is a keeper. I don't know about the Elucence. Are you going to stick with it, Supergirl?
the ingredients are the same, but the consistency is definitely different.
Ubavka,
Deep Brilliance and Kenra have been my mains for the last few months, so I don't really feel like I've lost anything. I always keep Elucence on hand, but probably won't reorder if my results are consistently like they were yesterday.

You think you might need to clarify? The Shampoo is the same right?
FYI...I just spoke with the chemist at Elucence. She says that the formula and the consistency hasn't changed in the last 5 years. Maybe it's a bad batch! Will the vendor allow a return/exchange?

They are a bleepin' lie! (nice of you to call though) Like I said, the ingredients listed are exactly the same, but I ordered 2 or the Liter bottles and they are both of the thicker consistency & when you've been using a product for over a year--you just know when there's a difference. And since I ordered 2--are they telling me that BOTH of them are just miraculously different than what I've used in the past? I think they're trying to get over.
My liter didn't come today. So, I guess I can't comment until Monday. I wasn't crazy about the Intensive Emollient either. I actually gave mine away to a friend.

I liked it better than I did before!
Well - for anyone who wasn't thrilled with Elucence before - order away! Cause it's workin' on us now!!!

Yes siree!!!! I totally agree with you, Tracy!!!
I had tried Elucence way back when and it was just OK. I started using it again later and EVERY time I rinsed it out I would lose gobs of hair. Like maybe it was over softening my hair or something. I even wondered if some crazy person spiked the conditioner with a wee bit of Nair Hair Remover or something
(you never know)
I don't know what made me order another bottle.....oh, wait, yea I do....it was Supergirl
But anyway, this new bottle is wonderful for my hair! It detangles and moisturizes just right and there's no hair loss or that overly soft feeling. I'm lovin' it!!!!
