My natural texture is back with a vengeance!

Hi, all. I think most of my texturized hair has reverted , but my natural hair is back with a vengeance! Now I can't even make a twist last on my natural hair. The corkscrew pattern has gotten more curvier and wilder. Mtg is wonderful, but now I can't do anything with my hair. It's too cold for wash n gos in NY. I don't know what I can do with my hair now. Any tips, anyone? My hair is uber thick and curly and it's driving me crazy!

How about flat-twists into a bun, cornrows, box braids...

I am thankful for the reply. Can u tell me how to do flat twists and corn rows? I'm still struggling with two strand twists! My hair is so thick and it's hard to make the twists stay without unravelling! I will be practicing all winter because wash n gos are definitely no nos now.
