Hiya ladies!! after a year and a half of drooling over this lace front wig I have finally got up enough nerve to ask it out on a date :grin:. It is a curly unit and it is absolutely stunning! I have been admiring this wig from afar for too long and it is time for me to have it. My homegirls told me that this wig was too good for me and may not be interested in what I have to offer. What stopped me from getting the wig was the fact that it was rather pricey but I figure what the heck.. you only live once and I dont wanna live that life bald!! Well guess what? The wig said yes and we are on our way to starting a great relationship. so my curly unit is on its way!! I will definitely have some pics up in my fotki once it arrives. Hey Katttt!! Where have you been? Growing your hair without me?! lol but anyway, thank you ladies! I think the wig is awesome. All I have to worry about is the application process. I dont wanna screw it up because its too expensive and beautiful a wig. Have any of you ladies ever tried a lace front? Just curious.. Even if you havent do u know anyone that has?

Hello Mrs. Verde. A lace front wig is a wig that is basically made out of lace. Being that the lace is "see through" The lace makes the hair appear as though the hair is actually growing out of the wearers scalp. These are the wigs that Beyonce, Tyra Banks and a handfull of other celebrities are wearing. If you click on the link that I provided you will see a picture of the wig and get a better idea. Yes... The lace is offered in different shades: Transparent, medium brown, light brown and beige. When the wig is shipped it is shipped with extra lace at the hairline and once you get it the wearer has to cut the lace the way they would like it. The lace is then applied with adhesive to your natural hairline.

Oh girl get the wig! We can be the bopsy twins. lmaoo@ u kicking ur husband out. Damn! Its ashame what hair can do to a woman these days. Poor husband. I just got off the phone with one of the representatives at zarawigs. Her name is Kate and she is so helpful. We were on the phone for half an hour. I have an addiction for real. This lady told me she owns about 10 lace front wigs. Talk about addiction. Juss cause u sell the crack doesnt mean you gotta taste it! lmaooo isnt that rule number 1? lol She told me to beware because Im gonna be spoiled. Ion eemmm care! lol I want it and im getting it!

Thank u Christa. This is my new baby. Im kickin my lhasa apso to the side for a few weeks for this thing. And lord knows I love my dog but I love my hair too. Im so excited Im parading around the house like Im rocking this thing already. Pray for me?:look:
 
I was on Youtube.com one day and I watched a short video on how to apply a front lace wig. It was done by a : 4Designers. Do a search on this person's name and you will find it. Gurl, I love how you describe your wig as a Sexy "Chocolate" You had my attention... I wanted to see what he looked, but when I clicked on the site all I was was your beautiful wig. LOL! Good one. A+ for Originality

Yea I have seen a video on how to apply a lace front wig last week. The video was veerrry helpful and hopefully my first time making love :kiss: to it wont be a disaster lol. Im sure the wig will meet my expectations in the bathroom but will I meet the wigs expectations?? As a matter of fact Im naming the wig "Charl-ee" :lachen:lol Im definitely gonna click on the little link u provided in your reply.
 
Taura, I just viewed the video and its the same lady in the video that I seen last time but she was applying a different wig. I love her tutorials on how to apply the wigs. She is great! Thanks much

I spent some time perusing that site and I really love how you can customize a wig to your exact specs--being able to choose thickness is cool! I always thought real wigs had WAY too much hair at the front--too much hair in general--which is why most wigs are so easy to spot. But those look really believable. I have a NewHair wig that allows me to show my hairline and people think I just got a cut and color when I rock it. But the lacefronts are a league I'm not ready for! I learned a lot on that site tho.

Do you plan to keep it on for days at a time, like they say you can?

I see u got a brand new pittbull, is that for me? :ohwell: lol Girl I love love love love love this wig and I am so happy that I am treating myself to something nice. Isnt she pretty? I was jealous for a while just thinking about her on the heads of other women. Thats what I love about the site as well.. Your not truly getting a custom wig if you dont have the option to add density, take away density, add highlights and etc. I would like to see ur new hair wig, Im curious. It sounds pretty cool. And yes I plan to keep the wig on for days at a time. The only question I have is if I can still moisturize my hair with the wig on my head but it looks like I will just have to wait and see. If I have to take it off every so often to moisturize then I will. Not only am I getting the wig because it is obviously stunning but I am getting it so that my hair stays healthy from heat, perms or anything else that will damage my hair.

people can't get enough of me!!!!:grin:
i only wear it for a week at a time so i can can keep my scalp clean....
but my aunt sells them and one of my cousins makes them, so its a family affair for me!!

Oh most definitely. Where ever theres a lace front wig wearer I am there to learn. I was checking out this other girls Fotki. Her name is SKY something.. excuse me because I cant remember the rest of her name. But her lace fronts were fierce. Im coming atlien11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
