My Hair\'s a WEIRDO! No More \"Raves\"

Excuse me for venting...

But I am so frustrated with buying products that many rave about and then they don't work for me.

I know, "different strokes...." but I mean almost none of them seem to work "right".

I'm just realizing that my hair doesn't like what everyone else's likes, except for Surge (that stuff works, but I'm no longer using it because it works too well)

All Suave products (including Milk-N-Honey)

All VO5 Conditioners

Cholesterols

UBH Conditioner

So I am making a vow to ignore all the "rave reviews" and to stick to my good ole'
Affirm & Kera Care products
Cream of Nature Poo
IC Leave In
ION Effective Treatment (protein)
WGO and Grease

That's it. No more new "raves" for me. So if any of you ladies see me posting comments that I will try something new, just slap me silly with a fish

Sticking to what works is the name of the game. For some of us lots of things work, and for some of us only a few things work. It's all about figuring out which one of those you are.

The "raved about" products usually are a waste of my money too. I have decided to stick to my tried and true products and ignore the rest.

Thanks ladies for your responses. Yeah ITA, we must find what works best for us. But it's so hard not to give in to the tempting "raves". I must exert my self discipline
