My hair must be growing because........

it is iching sooooo bad. I even started washing my hair twice a week so it isnt dirty. I hope it is the growth fighting its way to the surface. I wonder if its the mega hair vitamins that I ordered from PP.

I have just recently started taking 5000 mcgs of the PP biotin less than two weeks ago. Now, I get this constant feeling like something is pulling on my hair, even when it is down and loosely pulled back. Sometimes it is worse than others but ,it is always there. Anyone else get this? Oh yeah, it is all just on the top of my head?

Diamondchair I am also taking a PP Hair pill. I just started on them this week. Mine is called Vitamins for the Hair and I only take one tablet per day. How long have you been taking the time release pills? Sounds like your hair is growing!!!

A couple of weeks ago my scalp was VERY sore and itchy. I had gotten 1 inch in 3 weeks. I am taking MSM.

Now, I do not feel the pulling thing anymore. I have a throbbing sensation, like when you have a headache but it doesn't hurt. It kind of feels like there is a lot of blood in the top of my head. I have also been taking MSM too.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm new around here. I went natural a year ago and cut off my long relaxed hair, but I can't wait for it to grow again. I'm interested in taking vitamins to help and I was wondering what the abbreviations PP and MSM stand for. And would you recmomend them?

PP is a brand of vitamins called Puritan Pride. It's available online.

MSM is a very popular vitamin for hair. Here's some info, and there's alot on the board, just use the 'search' feature.

I just started taking them both a little under 2 weeks ago so I do not know how well they work yet.

sorry that i am late with the post but i also bought that product. there are so many ingredients in that pill it makes the regular multi vit look like a childs pill.

I just had a relaxer on Thursday, I washed my hair last night and already my scalp is itching. I don't know whether to jump for joy because it is growing or if I need to find something to make it stop. At this rate I won't ever make it to twelve weeks.
