Ok ladies I gonna need alittle help. I am going on 9 weeks post relaxer and my hair is resisting my CO washes and deep conditioning treatments. I am trying to stretch to 12 weeks but its getting tougher by the day. Due to the increase in my vitamin intake my NG is coming in earlier and faster than usual.

Can you guys help me out? I need to find a really good moisturizing conditioner that gives good slip to the hair for my CO washes. Alot of the conditioners I use have, include protein in them and that might be a problem also.Any suggestions would be great.:)

Hi Vikki,

I suggest Kenra MC or Herbal Essences conditioner for damaged/permed/dry hair. Both give great slip. I've been stretching from 12 - 16 weeks by using these.

i like the vo5 moisture milks and nourishing oasis conditioners....and you should try an EVOO pre-shampoo treatment too....that always leaves my hair soft.

Girl you got some beautiful hair...an inspiration really. I should try using those then for CO washes to see how that helps. I don't know what went wrong with my hair...it just started acting up!?

@shantani..I have the Strawberries n Cream moisture milks and my hair seems to not like it very much. I have only used it once but I will try again. By the third time..it's going down the trash:( .

the moisture milks strawberry also made my hair hard....ive tried it the 3rd time and will either trash it or give it away

To me the whole point in stretching is to get X amount of new growth before you relax to avoid overlapping, so if you are getting there sooner...why continue to stretch?

Thanks Senimoni.....Yea i have been thinking about that. Maybe I should relax when I'm at 10 weeks post and not 12. I honestly think I can't make it.:(

I usually stretch my touch up a little over 3 months using coconut milk as a pre-poo treatmnt.
