I did it today, any tweaking help to make it really stand out? I bought silver bobby pins today from Sallys to match my silver strands and to add some pizzazz..thanks.FRO and FROHAWK JULY AUG 2009 008.jpg
 
That's cute!!! I'm bad to ask b/c I've never rocked this style (my forehead is HUGE and I would look funny!) so I hope you get other suggestions :-)

I'm sort of wearing one today too! :grin:

I used a banana clip. and then pinned up the hair that didn't fit. In the front I have a bump instead of keeping it loose b/c my bangs hang in my eyes and make me look like a pony. :lachen:

Your holds up much better than my failed attempts. When I did mine I tried todefine my curls then flat twisted my sides. Sometimes I even just did a twist into the style and different variations. Love it on you though
 
It looks great. I'm going to subscribe to this thread because I was going to wear one next week and this is just the pic I need for inspiration and guidance. I'm going to try and flat twists the sides instead of pin. I aspire to get mine as good as yours. Thanks for sharing.
 
Love it! I also love the thickness and length of your hair and I'll be beyond excited when I am this length as a natural.

It looks really good! but if you wanted it to stand out even more, maybe you could put a little gel to define your texture and make it 'stand up' more.

I think its great as it is though.

I'll be shocking my co-workers tomorrow by wearing it and I will use some Ecostyler clear gel and water with the silver pins as accent to do just that...thanks for the tweak.
