Looks really cute! :yep:

Are the front and sides left out??? If so how much???

Only about 1 inch width and 3 inches back from my forehead are left out for what the stylist called an "invisible part". Basically, she left just a slither of my hair out to cover the tracks, but instead of laying them vertically (going from front to back) she sew just the very front horizontally (from ear to ear).

Gorgeous. How much was it? What was the method of you hair braided underneath. How long will it last?

Hi Reecie,

The hair was only $80 per pack ($70 for the 10-inch she used for the top layer) and she only used a pack and a half, even on my watermelon :lachen:.

The hair underneath is mostly braided to the back, with just a few smaller rows in the braided horizontally right at the invisible part.

Lastly, the stylist said that it should last for all of 3 months, just so long as I come in at least monthly for maintenance (which I believe involve some form of tightening). But I really don't plan to keep it past my 24 week post mark in December - - at which time i plan to relax to see just how close my OWN hair has come to APL:grin:

Me likey! It looks really good!

Quick question though..whats the problem with BSS hair??

Hey Adaoba!

It's commonly believed that the quality of bss hair is not as good as those purchased online. But i tend to sway towards the thinking that thi smost times depends on a number of facts such as whether or not the bss hair has gone into dry-rot state therefore leading to heavy shedding (which can be spotted a mile away by the sale/clearence price:nono:) and owner care (for some reason, wearers tend to believe that LESS work is involved with the upkeep just because its not their actual hair).

AWWWWWW THANK YOU MY QUEENS!!! THANK YOU ALL SOO MUCH!

I haven't been able to catch a compliment since leaving the shop from anyone other than my girls....so your compliments have really encouraged me. Muuuuuah

It looks really great....seems to have a lot of movement and looks like it could be your own hair. Pretty pictures too!!

Hey Queenz! I just wanted to post an update of my sew-in after my first wash.

Tremendously pleased with this hair. No tangles or matting. Just soft, full hair. I washed it using watered-down CON poo and DC'd with honey and ORS. My 17 yr old diva flat-ironed it for me and *POOF* PRESTO CHANGO... it was like new:lachen:

I like the length. I am still debating between outre velvet remy in 14 inch 75.00 a pack or goddess remy 12 inch 62.00 a pack. I need at least two packs either way........

I beleive in purchasing higher qulaity hair so that it can be reuseable.
