My first bun!!

I normally have my hair in a puff because frankly I am very style challenged. My hair is now long enough to put in to a ponytail but not long enough to bun after that, so I managed to find a way to bun my hair without the use of a ponytail. What I did was just put my hair in a puff (the one where you double a headband and push it back), twist the hair that was left out and clip it up with a jumbo clip. I think it looks pretty awesome.

I also experimented with some gel this week (ecostyler and fantasia ic, both clear) so I will post some pics of that as well.

i don't completely understand your description of how you did it, but it looks really good, congrats!

and how did you find the gels you're experimenting w/? did you have those waves before or do they pop more w/ the gels?

nzeee Think of it as a ponytail that you two strand twist the ends and pin up. The only difference is that I didn't pull my hair all the way into a pony.

I found Ecostyler gel at sally's and I found the Fantasia gel at target. The waves definitely pop more with the gel. I also use the scarf method in which I tie my hair down after I apply the gel(for the bun). With the curls in the first pic of the second set I just put the gel on and rake it with my fingers, I also pull on my hair a little.
