There seems to be quite a bit of protein in the Surge Revitalizer plus 14 so we should all be very deligent with moisturizing. It says to spray hair twice daily so we should be moisturizing every time we spray. I think one or two members mentioned their hair being a bit hard from using it and we all know protein can do that

Happy hair growing all -- I can feel the tingles already!

No wonder my hair feels nice and light today. I am not a big fan of oiling my hair. However I do realize that I am going to have to add a little castor oil or something to my ends at night after i apply my Surge. I like that its not an oil to weigh my hair down
smile.gif

I purchased the whole line of Surge when I purchased my revitalizer and they all work very well together. The moisturizer is a bit thin but when I put the oil on after it, my hair is shiny and soft. I put all three on my hair and scalp last night then braided my hair, in the morning I took the braids down and my hair was well moisturized and very easy to comb. My hair is usually dry in the morning and hard to comb. I didn't need to put anything in my hair this morning.

I like surge also as a leave in,even though some complain that it makes their hair hard I find that it makes mine soft and very moisturized

I use teh surge twice a day and throughout my entire heade but I also moisturize each time with s-curl and hot six oil. My hair never feels dry.

Hi ellemoe22!!! Thank you for sending me to Mimi's. I got my surge last nite. It was right where you said it was.

Does anyone put the surge on your ends or is this too much?

I put it all over my hair. Even the ends.

debjay you are so lucky
cause I'm going to buy about 4 bottles, 2 for me the rest for my sis and cuz.

perfect peace
I suggest conserving it for your scalp, I have been using it for 11 days and my bottle is almost finished. I'm trying to make it strecht till the end of the week.

Can anyone tell how long their bottle last when used as directed

I guess it can if your hair is pressed but a relaxer is permanent. What you should get is a lot of new growth.

Okay thanks ladies.

Last question. Does this make your hair revert?

Yes, if your hair is pressed.

yes this is true about moisturising. The first few days my hair got a bit dry and hard. I make a point now to continue using the s-curl immediately after using the surge and now my hair is soft and moist again.

I am loving this product and the way it makes my hair feel. I even bought the Lotion Motion #9 oil to seal the ends after spraying. There is one thing I noticed though, did anyone get an overpowering feeling in their nostrils while using the Plus 14? It's as if there is some kind of molecule in the liquid that give off a slight sensation in the nose.

I also got that overpowering feeling. HoneyLemonDrop: Doesn't the entire product line work great together? I think everyone should purchase the Lotion Motion #9 and the Woojee moisturizer along with the Revitalizer, they work well together.

Yeah I hope that nostril thing is nothing serious. I am also considering the Woojee moisturizer. Im really loving these products also the oil has a nice clover spice smell to it

.

I haven't noticed the nostril thing, which is quite surprising to me because I can't use spray perfume because of the nostril thing --- hmmm I hope I didn't get mine from a weak batch. I am however getting the bugs crawling on my scalp which I love.

Is it possible to be skeptical AND excited at the same time? Well if so, then I am. I'm not gonna lie, I'm very skeptical, I don't believe topical products (except rogaine) can produce faster hair growth. Most vitamins don't have a small enough mollecular structure to penetrate, but then maybe they made it so it could?

Anyway, I ordered THREE bottles yesterday

So I am hoping this is the key to a growth spurt. I'm feeling kind of stuck, so when I get my product, I will certainly keep everyone update on the results and do a "Surge" picture album as well.

I understand your skeptism and your excitement. On one had you don't believe applying something to your hair or scalp can make it "grow" faster. However with all of the rave reviews, I suppose you definitely don't want to be left out.

Totally! And the thing is, I'm DESPERATE!!!! LOL!! And I lack patience you know? This is usually why I get braids because when I have access to my hair, I start to experiment!! LOL!!

But yeah, I need a growth spurt, my goal is to figure out if I can get an inch per month, if I can do that I'll be way pleased
grin.gif

If it worked for me it would be cool, ESPECIALLY since I am so skeptical. I mean, I know better, and I know that consistancy, and patience is the key to length retention. But right now I just want to hurry up the process. LOL!

Plus it's not the first "hot new thing" I've seen around the hair boards, so hopefully this one is for real.
grin.gif

Cuz I'll hear rave reports about something from people I've never seen around before, then people will try it for two weeks report great things, and then the excitment dies down.

I plan to just incorporate that into my existing routine, and since I moisturize daily anyway, one more thing to spray on my hair and scalp won't be that cumbersome. I'm going to give it two months of daily and consistant use so that if it does or does not work, at least I can say I gave it a fair try. And I can also give it a realistic review.

I've been doing Conditioner washes for over a year now, so surely I can stick with this for two months

Well good luck to you and all of those on the Surge challenge. I hope it lives up to everyone's expectations.

I think the way I'm entering this experience is to consider it a better way of taking care of my hair. Instead of thinking that this stuff is gonna make my hair grow faster, I'm preparing for it to just grow my hair healthier. If it really does make my hair grow faster, great!
