I like to keep it basically simple..I mix 100% coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter and a drop of 100% aloe..I use aloe for overall healing of the scalp..because it is mentioned as a healing agent in the bible. Before I do the treatment again, I use a deep cleansing shampoo to remove built up product. How much you mix depends on whether you are doing one head or many..I use a teaspoon of each, except aloe..unless the hair is very thick..you can also mix a lot and refrigerate..stick in the microwave and soften later..I do every six weeks or so and after relaxing..shampoo once afterward because it can leave relaxed hair looking oily.

So, how long have you been doing hot oil treatments for your hair as a deep conditioner? Do you do any other treatments in between the six weeks for moisture?
One drop of aloe, is that all?

Facetiousness aside...The pure shea butter that I use adds thickness and makes a paste..and this works for me and my clients..their hair is beautiful and healthy and yes a drop of aloe..because it might dull out if more is added.

Oh and yes..I use different moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, depending on the ladies hair..For me and my ladies..I find that a lot of product on hair can be counterproductive..so I use what works..for us..

Dull out? What are you trying to imply?

Aloe is great and moisturizing!

It is a good moisturizer and healing agent, but left in takes some of the shine away. And I like for my ladies hair to have a beautiful shine and bounce.
