Thank You so much for all these wonderful comments!!!!! I have all these pics of back then and right now...but I never put them up against each other to see where I came from and where I'm at. I would like to encourage everyone to do this if you haven't already....Thanks again Ladies.

Thats fabulous progress... way to grow

what would you say helped you get where you are now?

Thats more hair iv been able to grow in a whole life time

Wonderful progress... Glad you had pictures to share because if you didn't a lot of people wouldn't believe you start w/a short cut to where you at today. Are you natural or texturized?? Beautiful job:)

Thanks again for all the lovely compliments, It really is motivation to keep my hair in good health and strive for APL.

Well KissKiss and BrownSis, I really wish I had some kind of regimen set in stone but I don't. I can say that in the beginning I did alot of wash and go's and I used and still use pantene relaxed and natural conditioner to moisturize and define my curl (it is my absolute fav). I also use queen Helene cholesterol gel, which contains no alcohol and helps with porosity control (also for curl definition...way better than Fant. Sparkelites IMO). I used these products almost everyday.....and I still do. I still do wash and go's just not that often....I wear my hair in a banana clip like everyday. And I only straighten about once every 3 months. So I guess the moral of this story is protective styles and very little heat.

My staple products are:

Pantene Pro-V relaxed in natural (Mainly the Conditioner)
Queen Helene Cholesterol Gel
Castor Oil (My Fav)
Coconut oil

Misseyl, I am natural and have been since November 2004, but lately I have been thinking about relaxing.
