I'm super excited!! I BC'ed last week and finally took pics yesterday... I love the curls! I'm slowly embracing new makeup and earring options though to make sure I look superfly and do my curls justice!!

Last two... Quick question: anyone know why my profile pic won't save? I've updated it twice. And when I go to User CP, it shows the new picture, when I post, the old picture is showing....

ITA with this! OP your hair looks great. When I first BC'd I transitioned for 8 mos so I had quite a bit of hair and never truly had the short cut that I wanted. After letting it grow out for over a year which was past my shoulders by then, I ended up cutting it really short. I decided to go ahead and get it out of my system before letting it grow too long (besides I had some damage in there and I figured knock out 2 with 1 stone) and I love it! I have been keeping it trimmed short, but once the thrill is over I'll let it grow and not stop it.

Thank you ladies for the encouraging words. They really mean a lot to me. I want to upload the photos in which I have the KCCC in. The curls are so defined. My work computer isn't cooperating so I have to wait until I get home tonight.


I love the short look now that I'm learning how to rock it properly. At first I was self conscious, I thought I looked like a little boy (especially with my facial structure), but the more I cut and the more I styled to keep the curls defined, the better I felt.
