It just came to me what had my hair acting crazy. I knew that I could not put light coloring in my hair, but I thought I was safe with using black. However, my hair does not like any permanent coloring. I use to use begine (sp) oriental black, but now since I've stopped using all coloring and kept my mtg routine, my hair is flurishing. I have some grey, but I will eventually use a semi-perm color later down the line. I remember that in high school I use to use henna to add color and shine to my hair. I look at my old picture and I see how long and shiny my hair was and I realize I need to go back to my old school methods.

What was the coloring doing to your hair? Some of the ladies here say their hair is flourishing with permanent and semi-permanent color, including Bigen.
