My affair has ended...

Supergirl, Hairlove, and MissB, I wanted to let you ladies know that I have ended my affair with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner. After trying for a month things just weren't working out ...he left me dissatisfied too many nights. I was saddened because I thought we were going to have something on the side. I am however happy to say that Humecto has taken me back with open arms although I was unfaithful.

...I actually just ordered a 5lb tub of Humecto to signify my new commitment.

I'm glad Kenra is working for you ladies, but I had to leave him alone.

Sorry, it didn't work for you. Your experience with the conditioner sounds like the one I had with the Kenra shampoo. I also like the Humecto a lot. But, I haven't tried the tub yet. I hear that the consistency is thicker than the bottle. Happy deep conditioning!

Thanks MissB. I decided to stay away from the Kenra shampoo because after reading many reviews, I concluded that it would not come close to KeraCare detangling shampoo.

I have the Kenra Shampoo and Conditioner. I haven't tried them yet. What didn't you like about them. I have tried the Intensive Treatment in the tub. It works great.

Auntybe, the KMC did not moisturize and detangle my hair like Humecto does. After rinsing the conditioner, my hair felt really soft but as it dried it felt coated and strange... I even clarified. My hair seems to respond better to Humecto because it stays moist and never has a coating. MissB can tell you more about the shampoo.

I tried the Kenra shampoo and I wasn't impressed at all. I actually like the Elucence shampoo much better. It didn't detangle my hair very well. I prefer the Keracare Hydrating and Detangling shampoo to this one. And my new favorite, the Bumble and Bumble Gentle Shampoo.

However, my co-worker who is also a member of the LHCF loves the Kenra shampoo and conditioner and didn't like the Elucence at all. So, give it a try. It might work for you.

Sorry KMC did not work out for you. I tried KMC for the first time over the weekend and the result was fine. I will have to use it again before I make any conclusions though.

Queenofmean, I ordered the 5lb tub online at discount-beauty.com, they have great prices. I purchased the 32oz hydrating and detangling shampoo as well. KeraCare and I go way back.
