It has been accomplished. 
I've actually been ready to big chop months ago but I decided to wait until my birthday (which happens to be today!!) so that I could better remember the date that I have officially become NATURAL.
I cannot believe I did it.
I received my last relaxer in August 2009. I have not seen my natural hair since I was about 10 years old, so you can only imagine how exciting it is to (for a lack of better terms) HAVE MY HAIR BACK!!
So at exactly 12:00am I sat down and chopped away to the sweet sounds of Prince It's been such a long and humbling journey.
I am so proud, I cannot stop smiling.
Here is my hair journey:

2009
Transitioning (2011)
Most of my relaxed ends have broken off at this point, so I finally felt comfortable enough to begin wearing twist outs. This is how I wore my hair for the last 6 months of my transition.
I decided to straightened my hair about 5 months ago. I was exactly APL.
2012
Oh relaxed ends, I bid you adieu
April 20th- BIG CHOP!!!
I AM OFFICIALLY AU NATURALE!!
