MTG -How to use it? What results?

Hey Lovely Ladies of LHCF,

I have read all the raves about MTG and am dying to order some. However, I first wanted to get the down low on how to properly use it and what results are expectable. Please chime in and give any other do's or don'ts as they relate to this product specifically or any other products in the line.

I put it on my scalp at least 5 days a week, that may be excessive but it gave me an inch of growth in a month. Don't let it drip on your neck because it may cause break outs, don't put it on when you have to be around people b/c it does stink and your might lose friends. A lot of people mix their mtg with essential oils to mask the smell. I personally use wonder gro shea butter silk shine, but I think essential oils may be more effective. Don't give up if you don't see reults right away becuase I didn't think that I had any growth until I went to the salon and she gave me a doobie. Just stick with it and think possitively. Don't forget, even if you can't smell it any more, other people may still be able to. A lot of people use mtg at night b/c they say that the smell is gone by morning. Good luck!

ITA,........I have been using MTG (along with Surge) for the past 4 weeks and although I am only 6 weeks post relaxer, it's pretty thick under there!!

I apply it 5 days a week (M-F), since I shampoo on Saturdays. I have it in a slanted tip applicator bottle and just go up and down my scalp each night. I only use it as night as well so the smell can be far away from me as possible by the time the morning comes. (I use Surge in the morning). As others have mentioned, it also tarnishes silver. I didn't realize it at first, but noticed that I kept having to clean my ring and finally took my necklace off one day and saw it was tarnished as well. I didn't know what the culprit was until I read it somewhere on here. I thought my body chemistry was just changing!!! I have been very pleased with it but don't put too much because it will make your hair VERY oily. When I know that I am going to wear my hair in a bun, I apply it very liberally, otherwise, I try to make sure not to overdo it.

Although I don't know quite how much new growth I have and won't know for another 6 weeks, I know I am making progress.

I am trying to be consistent by applying it every other day to my scalp. I part my hair like I am relaxing it and apply it with a spray bottle very sparingly. It is very oily. I have created an album t track the growth.
