If it still smells like burnt bacon grease, what was their point?

You got me. They said that it smells better. Smells the same as the other one. Just a little bit of a mild perfume scent in there to make it a little milder. It is not the Sulfur either. Sulfur powder does not smell like that we all know. It is other stuff they put in there.

Well I bought it. Still smells like bacon. So I will have to say BT is still better. IMO

So they made a product called Sulu Max gro and it smells like bacon? Why didn't Shanequia or whoever mention the bacon smell on the site? Maybe she was mauled by a large dog or some type of woodland creature before she got a chance to add that part to her testimonial.

I voted for "I don't care". I've purchased 2 bottles of MTG in the past, and threw them both out. I tried to use them up and get my money's worth, but it STANK. I'd prefer to leave my experiences with Shapley's products in the past. I bought 3 bottles of BT earlier this year and I'm satisfied. The price is about the same as this product anyway.

I'm curious why they would mention on the Sulu website that "MAX GRO offers
an improved applicator, a better carrier oil and a human friendly scent!" when they're still using cade oil.

You've made great points, Kiwi. If it ain't broke, no fix it; that's why I'm staying with BT. I've heard that some are very allergic to cade oil and that it can cause burning and itching. Some of the ladies here reported itching and that scares me. I also decided to cease all topical growth aids in the final 2 months of my stretch, anyway.

For the people that actually tried it, I don't think they have been using it is long enough to give a results report. I mean even if they ordered and waited a week for it to arrive that would only be a few weeks.

I mean I know there are ladies that report this growth and that growth in a 4 weeks time, but I don't think that is enough time to really give a good review.

The only think that some of us can say is that it still stinks and smells like cade oil. I bought some and the smell is the same - I did not try it. I gave another member a few ounces of it and she said the same thing. Neither one of us was willing to use it.

I think their site is down. I can't open it. I wanted to email them to tell them that it smells the same. MTG only with a little perfume it it.

I ordered on Monday relaxed my hair on Wednesday.Got this yesterday and applied it and yes in 24hrs there is new growth.....HOWEVER this stuff smells AWFUL. My husband told me to never go out in public or go to bed with this in my hair...If I can't find another way to use it, I will go back to trying the BT which gave me an extra 1/2 inch of growth during my relaxer period back in April.

I mean it stinks..I felt like pig pen of Charlie Brown...like a cloud was over me. I was in TJ Maxx shopping an hour ago and my husband sent me home.. I just finished washing this stuff out of my hair.
