MSM... how much and how long

do you take it in order to see some sort of results? I've just started taking the powedered MSM - and i am gunning for thicker, healthier, stronger hair (if the curl could be looser, well...

) and nails.

I've started with 1 heaping teaspoon (10 days ago, according to the homeopath's instructions), how long should i wait before it kicks in, or before i say 'rubbish' and move on.

You wont say rubbish, trust me, I saw results somewhere in my 4th week. Ive been taking msm for 5 months now, and it has made my hair and nails stronger. Other's even noticed how my nails are brighter and the tips are whiter. I noticed this too as well as how hard to break they are. My new growth comes out stronger and shinier too. I think that msm, especially the pure powder is something good to keep in your diet. Others here have had good results too, even in overall physical health. However,it's up to you and how you really feel about it

I started taking msm about 3 months ago. my first month I took kaire MSM(2mg's) and I saw results after 1 week. My hair grew in so, so much softer but it didn't really loosen the curl pattern. next I tried the walmart brand spring
vally(4mg's) and my hair grew so fast but my new growth seemed harder. Now I'm using trimedica brand(4mg's) and it's been 3 weeks and I definitely has loosen my curl pattern as well as made it so much softer. At this rate I will be able to last 3 months with out a relaxer for the first time!!!

so I guess to answer your question I have always noticed results within the first 2 weeks.
