I brought a tub of this & read some posts about it. My hair in general is pretty damaged, would this be safe to use weekly?

That's a good question. I would love to know the answer to this question. I used this before and it has GREAT slip. I wouldn;t mind using it again.

PrincessM..how many minutes doe sit say t leave it in?
Thanks.

I know Nay007 uses this and I think CarmenRose but I don;t know of anyone who uses this on a weekly basis. Maybe it depends on how high the proteins are on the ingredient list.

Yes,

This is a mild protein conditioner (Collagen not Keratin). It's also a moisturizing protein conditioner and is safe for weekly use.

Here are the ingredients, hopefully I didn't mispell anything I'm typing fast lol:

Water, mineral oil, polyquaternium-32, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hydrolyzed silk protien, algea extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hydrolyzed collagen, cocamidopropyl, betaine, glycol distearate, lauryl polyglucose, propylene glycol, glycereth-31, dimethicone copolyol, isostearate, methlyparaben, propylparaben, diazolidinyl, urea, fragrance, yellow 5.

I definitely will.

I use this at-least once (sometimes twice) a week. I love it, and it is making my hair thicker and stronger. I add some olive oil and I sit under the dryer for 15-20 minutes, per Cathy Howse instructions. Works great! - T

Princess M,

Glad I could save you some money

I think this conditioner is the best of all the motions conditioners. I think it's very good. I actually have some under my cabinet too! (but I'm a PJ--so it only sees me if I'm in the mood!)

Thanks Supergirl. This is great

I'm trying to avoid becoming a PJ myself but since I found this board it's so hard

I'll definitely try adding heat and some extra virgin olive oil sometimes, thanks tc_333

i absolutely love this conditioner. i use it once or twice a month after i wash with my clarifying shampoo once or twice, to get all the oil out. then i apply the motions conditioner and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. i'm kinda scared to leave it on longer since it is a protein conditioner. it really detangles my hair and moisturizes it. i read a lot about protein conditioners, which leave the hair kinda dry so most of the ladies follow up with a moisturizing conditioner or a detangling one, but you won't need to do that with this one. i know i sound like i'm in a commercial or something, but it's really great:)

nay

I love this conditioner as well. It is a great protein condr because it moisturizes and provides some of the best slip I've ever had. It doesn't make the hair hard because it has a lot of moisturizing agents in it. This was a major life saver for me during the winter when my hair was dry as heck.

I think you could use this weekly without a problem. Tell us how it goes.

I use most of Motions line, but i haven't tried this conditioner yet. It's on my 2 buy list though
