I brought this conditioner today as my hair was sooo dry, I dc lightly for 20 minutes under a shower cap. I rinsed it out then followed with ORS olive oil lotion. My hair came out really nice and soft!! I let it air dry under my half wig.

But I’m worried as the second ingredient is mineral oil and I am worried that it will cause more harm than good, what do you think? :perplexed

I love Motions CPR. I use it occasionally. :yep: If it works for your hair don't worry about what they say on the Mineral oil. That just applies to some.

I've used motions CPR for many years and my hair is in great condition.

There's mineral oil in Keracare Humecto and that one is good too!

I don't understand the obsession with mineral oil in conditioners. You have to rinse that. I can see it being bad in leave- ins or moisturizers, since those stay on the hair and can do damage.

Yeah worked for me too, matter of fact I have to buy some more myself, but like one lady stated you are washing it out, so I don't see the harm it can do.......especially if you are only using it once or twice a week.....

I was looking at this in the BSS store the other day.....so it is a moisturizing DC???

No, it's more on the protein side, see I use mine mixed with a moisturizing dc, and put it on my dry hair for like 30mins to an hour, rinse, shampoo once, and then I condition with a moisturizing conditioner for the duration of my shoulder, my hair is smooth and i'm able to detangle.....but I try to add a balance of protein and moisturize.......:yep:

I love Motions CPR. It's a great conditioner that's a mixture of protein and moisture but if your hair needs more moisture, you can follow up w/ a moisturizing conditioner. I wouldn't worry about the mineral oil. Some people's hair actually like mineral oil.
