ETA: I know it involves using a large barrel curling iron, but would straight HH be able to curl well enough to achieve this look?

I think you should be able to get that look from straight hair with a big barrel curling iron or large rollers. That's how I'm planning to do mine whenever I want a little curl to my weave.

By the way...I purchased my hair yesterday at the BSS and almost had a cow when they rang up the total.

Haha!! REALLY!!! I'm getting mine today...I'm sure I'll be the same way!!

Straight hair... you can get it cut in layers and then rollerset it.
