I know you are supposed to moistuize every day but when I do I suffer from itchy scalp.:( Is it the products I'm using or should I just moisturize every other day? :confused:Anyone else with this same problem?

What are you using on your scalp?

Currently I'm using Dudley's moisture retainer and ORS Carrot Oil
Months ago I used NTM moisturizer and ORS Carrot Oil but I had the same problem so I thought switching to Dudley's would make a difference but it hasn't:(

Maybe you could use something on your scalp to relieve the itching and to keep it oiled and just use your moisturizers on the hair?

Siren there is no hard and fast tule that you have to moisturize every day. You only "have" to moisturize as much as your hair needs it. If your scalp is getting irritated I'd suggest just moisturizing the hair, not the scalp, or moisturizing the scalp much less often. I use ORS Carrot oil on my scalp but I only apply it every 3 days. For me it's too heavy to apply more often.

You could also consider washing more often.

You don't have to moisturize your scalp at all. I moisturize the length of my hair and concentrating most of the product on the ends. Keep trying different techniques until the itching goes away. Also make sure your scalp is really clean. The ORS Scalp Scrub is great for that. HTH.
