moisturizing and sealing ends not working

What am I doing wrong? I am definitely having a retention issue. I am still SL and not budging. I just did a good trim and my ends were hit. I need redirection because I should have been APL a loong time ago and would be if I could retain length better. HELP!!!

Do you see your hair breaking? if so, perhaps you may need some protein to keep it in check? are you natural, relaxed, double processed? how do you usually style your hair?

you name it, I do it. buns, braid/twist outs updos everything. I am gonna attribute it to my colored ends. However, I know here a plenty of LHCFers that have colored hair and are able to matain and grow it beautifully.

you name it, I do it. buns, braid/twist outs updos everything. I am gonna attribute it to my colored ends. However, I know here a plenty of LHCFers that have colored hair and are able to matain and grow it beautifully.

I had issues with my ends (pic in my album) and I regretted cutting them. What I did was use Roux Shampoo and Neutrogena Triple Moisturzing Condish (paying particular attention to my ends) and bagged up my entire head each night. I pampered my ends until they were heathy again. It also took me 3 months to get my porous ends healthy again!
Also, you might want to PM "Qualitee". She did an awesome job bringing her hair 'back-to-life" so to speak. Especially her ends. Her before and after pictures are amazing!

As for me, I totally gave up cutting my hair (almost forever). I'll probably dust sometime in Dec. 2011, lol.....lol....lol!

Are you trimming your progress away? If you wear protective styles your ends don't need to be perfect. Get to your goal or a huge milestone like APL before you trim again.

What do your products look like? Do you deep condition regularly? Do you have an idea of what your growth rate is?

growth rate -extra slow. I use CON d/c with cholesterol moisturize w/ HE LTR or hawaiian silky 14 in 1 seal with castor or evoo.
