What would be a good moisturiser to put on hair after its been flatironed? I'd like something that was light and doesn't weigh down the hair. I don't like a lot of product on the hair as I use a leave in and a heat protectant before blowdrying. TIA ladies

UBH Dew Spray Moisturizer OR UBH Creme Moisturizer =D

When I had it, I'd spray a little before going to bed and put a bonnet on. Or sometimes I'd spray and then put the creme moisturizer over it to seal. By morning it was bouncy and soft :)

Another option, this is all what I do in variation anyway, is more for a reconstructor treatment overnight. I use John Frieda's Overnight Repair Serum. It's in a blue bottle, kinda small, but definitely worth it. I put it on my ends and by morning, same thing as the UBH moisturizers :P

If Im wearing it out straight after flat ironing it, I put some Olive Oil Sheen Spray on it. It really light and smells nice. I dont put tooo much on because I usually load up my hair before I flat iron to moisturise and protect.

HTH

Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Oil worked pretty good for me before. A little goes a long way. Right now I use Eden Bodyworks Peppermint Tea Tree Hair Milk, very lightweight and smells super good:lick:

I like to use lacio lacio. It is a leave in conditioner, but it also works really well as a moisturizer when I wear my hair straight.

I use a dab of biosilk

I like Neutrogena Silk-touch leave-in, lacio lacio, Organix coconut split end cream, HE LTR leave-in, Garnier length& strength leave-in and the list could go on and on.

Even though I use these products, I don't depend on any of them for moisture. I get my moisture from deep conditioning with steam and using a leave-in on my wet hair.

The absolute BEST moisturizer for my relaxed flat ironed strands has been Care Free Curl Moisturizing Spray. It's extremely lightweight and doesn't weigh down my hair. It also gives it a nice natural sheen. I normally just apply it at night an then wrap or pincurl my hair. When I take it down it looks great and stays until my next wash.
