As your hair gets longer, has your product budget went up??? When I say longer, I mean Arm pit length, Bsl, mbl, wl, etc.

Do you spend more money on your hair now

If it has by by how much?

Do you find yourself scaling back from using too many products?

Did you grow long hair to find that you like to wear it up alot to keep from being bothered with it?

As your hair has grew, do you find yourself sticking with a keep it simple regimen?

I'm just asking because I was thinking how Lauren450 won a container of Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair deep recovery hair mask at the hair meeting and I was thinking how was she going to be able to get at least two applications out of it because her hair is so thick and long.

Good questions.

Do you spend more money on your hair now Yes, absolutely!

If it has by by how much? I can not begin to guess, but I bet I could buy a few nice purses a year with the new hair budget $$.

Do you find yourself scaling back from using too many products? I wish I could, but I am just too lazy. I get very heavy handed to save time. But mostly with conditioner.

Did you grow long hair to find that you like to wear it up alot to keep from being bothered with it? Guilty!

As your hair has grew, do you find yourself sticking with a keep it simple regimen? Unfortunately so. I would like to do more with it sometimes, but experimenting is so time consuming. Sometimes I start a hair project and it becomes overwhelming. (roller/flexi sets, flat iron, etc.) Even my WNG seems complicated, because I need a shape up.

:::sigh:: at Lauren's hair. SHe could give 3 of us a good amount of hair and still have enough hair for herself.
:::curses:::
Love ya Lauren!

I'm spending 2-3 times as much on shampoo/conditioner now because my hair is much thicker and longer. I like for my hair to be saturated with conditioner so it takes a lot to cover all the length.

I haven't really scaled back because poo/con is necessary. I have done away with the many leave-ins I used to use though. Now, I only use Giovanni Direct. I used to layer 2-3 of them but that got expensive and really wasn't good for my hair in the long run.

I've worn my hair up and out of the way for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I've gone through phases of about 2-6 weeks where I want to wear it down and flaunt it ALL the time...then I get tired of it getting caught on stuff, people trying to touch it/weave check, people asking crazy questions, getting hot because of it on my neck...the list goes on. I take a break from it for a few months, then I want to flaunt again...the cycle goes on.

These days, it's usually easier to just keep it up some kind of way. The longer hair has been fun though because the longer it's gotten, the more I could do with my hair i.e. Chinese buns, pinups, etc.

My regimen has never been terribly complicated so yes, I'm still keeping it simple.

It's funny you mention that about Lauren450...I decided to try the Motions MoisturePlus con that everyone's been raving about so I picked up a tube and gave it a go the other night...it was not even CLOSE to being enough for my hair...I used the WHOLE tube and still had to add other conditioners I already had to just cover my head. Tht really made me see just how much product I'm using. I don't notice as much because I usually use liter bottles of Nexxus but that tube wasn't that small and I was amazed at how "little" there seemed to be once I started using it.

Sorry for being so long-winded but this has been on my mind quite a bit the past few days.
