I just started the MN thingy :perplexed and I am curious and i'm sure others are concerning generic or namebrand as far as results are concerned, especially if you're trying to save money like me so... Should I use generic or namebrand and what are you using? A sista is trying to save some money so I thought i'd ask. Thanks so much ladies

I use the generic one- it's the same amount of MN in either one (2%).

I think I have gotten great results, no damage or complaints.

The only thing I will change is instead of mixing MN w/VG, I will use MN/castor oil instead.
I do 3 weeks on (b4 retouch)-3 weeks off (after retouch).

It is now a staple.

I've had great results!

The MN fights my itchy scalp, the VG provides moisture, and I have had some growth in the 2.5 months I started using it(see pix @ bottom).

I want to see how much growth I get with MN by the time I come stateside in the summer!

This was a wonderful LHCF discovery for me.

I use generic, family dollar brand. MN is MN, and if you can get away with 5 dollars a tube versus 11, I choose the 5. I use it every other day in a combo with hydrocortisone and capazin and I love it.

yes, I totally am feeling you with 5 dollars vs 11. ;)

I use the target brand & I think it's $3.99 a pack. I have used it off & on for the last year. I usually get 3/4" to 1" in a month applying it mixed with sulfur, coconut oil & essential oils every other day.

This is close to my regi- i usually buy 6 non-brand tubes of miconazole on amazon for about $14

Generic. I wasn't even about to spend more money for the exact same thing in different packages. However, I did have to buy name brand recently because I couldn't find the larger tube in generic  I have to order them online from walmart nowadays.
But they equally work the same!!!
