MN and Braids

Anyone using MN with braids notice your hair getting messy faster? Is it the applying MN on the scalp, or the MN growth... Or both?

Not using MN but I am using Megatek and YES!! I can't keep my braids because of it.

Good to know! My cornrows look good for about 3 days then look a mess...

MN should be applied to the only to the scalp. It's dries your hair out when applied to the hair. (I don't think there's any benefit to applying it to hair anyway). I got good growth with MN last year but I'm not sure why I stopped using it.

Girl, MN to the hair is asking for trouble! I just apply it on my scalp...

i apply it to the scalp only as well...my hair is in box braids right now and they look a hot mess...i'm re-braiding the perimeter as we speak! i alternate Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat (MT/OCT/Castor Oil Mix then i apply Vitka Oil) Sun, Tues, Thurs (MN/Castor Oil Mix)
