 Girl I learn from the best. I am sooo glad I cam across rollersetting. Heaven!

I am so thankful that I have found LHCF. Thanks again you guys:D :)

MizaniMami,

Yes, girl, your hair does look very shiny and healthy. It looks like a fur coat; its so glossy and pretty!

I love, love, love Aveda products. I have been using the damage remedy conditioner and reconstructor for about a year and love it. It costs a pretty penny but it is well worth it. They also have great oils that I use to get scalp massages. Oh Lord, once you get a scalp massage with Aveda oils, you will want to get one everyday. They feel so good. If you have any salons around your way that use Aveda products, ask if they do scalp massages, you will love it and it keeps your scalp healthy. It's like getting a facial for the scalp. I have been getting them on and off for about 4 years now. Any Aveda store can give you the names and locations of salons that do scalp massages.

Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration.

Thank you! I got a coupon in the mail to for 20 bucks off any Aveda DR strengthening or moisturizing (your choice) hair massage and treatment. It sounds like it is sooo good. But I don't know what happenedto the coupon. I was thinking about getting the strengthening route. I think I may look into it and just pay full price. I have never heard of ONE person being disappointed!

Have you ever used the beautifying composition oil? I know another member (Lauren) uses it for her rollersets and her hair is the bizzomb. I think I am going to try that oil once I run out of all my others.

What Aveda oils do you recommend?

Yes, girl, your hair is looking FABULOUS. It just looks so long, thick, and luxurious in that new siggy pic.

You better GROW ON, girl.:yay:

I got it from the Indian Grocery store in Cincy. But anywere they have a indian grocery store they should have it.

Thanks again ladies!!:D

Yes, your hair is beautiful. Keep up the good work.

Speaking of oil, how much oil do you put in your Nexxuss shampoos and conditioners? How do you measure it? In other words, what is the ratio?

Hey there :wave:and thank you. I no longer use Nexxus Shampoos and Conditioners.

I use silicon Mix conditioner (with Keracare shampoo) or aveda color conserve treatment (mainly after relaxers). I always add evoo to the conditioners though.

I don't know the 'exact' measurements, but I just glob it on, AFTER I have applied the conditioner. Sort of like a huge seal. I hope that helps!

hi there sweetie,

do you mind me asking why? Were they drying at all? This past weekend, I purchased humectress and felt that it did a good job but not a great job like it did in the past. I do not know if the formulas have changed or not but it just did not seem the same.

No not at all. As far as the therappe, I have problems with detangling and I NEED the slip. Therappe didn't offer any slip and nor did humectress. it also made my hair too soft (humectress) which would cause breakage for me.:(

thanks SO much for replying. The humectress did the same to my hair. I agree with you about the therappe too. Once I use up the tube that I have I will not be repurchasing it.

Thanks for responding. I was just wondering if the oil was poured into the shampoo bottle or after the shampoo was applied to the hair, then the oil was rubbed in.
