I'm looking for a new line and I was thinking about MIzani. HOw do their prices compare to keracare? Who likes them better than keracare? And are they very moisturizing? Detanlge? I really need all over general info about this line before I keep on and eventually purchase some products.

Some Mizani products are better than some Keracare products and vice versa. As far as overall line though--I think I like Mizani better even though Mizani tried to trick us

Sorry--I think I'm still a little bitter about that...

Which products do you think are better in which line?
Huh? What did Mizani do? Much have missed that.

Cutebajangirl,

You're exactly right--they changed the ingredients on us and then we we (members from the board) called to inquire about it--they were giving us two different stories. (Mizani Moisturefuse). Some were trying to tell us that we'd gotten a hold of some counterfeit bottles and that the ingredients hadn't changed at all. Others told us that indeed it was a new formula. Ahhhh, the memory

Sosly,

I think that the Keracare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo is superior to the Mizani shampoos by far (as far as performance) It really does a wonderful job of detangling and softening the hair. I can't believe it has ALS in it--it's so gentle.

The Keracare Humecto is also great. It makes the hair really smooth and slippery. BUT--I think that the ingredients in Mizani Moisturefuse are much better as far as contributing to the health and strength of the hair.

I also like the Mizani Leave-In better than the Keracare leave-in. IMO, the Keracare Leave-In is a little too thick and sticky. The Mizani Leave-In is lightweight and doubles as a thermal protectant too.

So what you're saying is that Mizani is the better line overall as far as ingredients and health of your hair and while keracare is good, it's more good for slip and style and that sort of thing? (or was it that you were only referring to the conditioenr when you said that?)

I owuld say that Keracare is a "slip" line. While Mizani has way more good ingredients, more mositure, protein, and slip.

just to say as a great tip for Mizani's Moisturefuse conditioner, adding a little EVOO makes it REALLY work well.
