How do you ladies find it? I'm currently using affirm, but its a bit drying. My aunty used it and had great results. I'd say she's a 4a, with very coarse looking hair.

I use Mizani Sensitive Scalp Relaxer...I really like it, it is my second favorite relaxer to Phytorelaxer index 2, i can get 4 containers for $40 from ebay. It is no lye, so if you have a preference for lye, mizani has lye relaxer but I don't like them..make my scalp burn..even the mild one..

I used Mizani sensitive scalp for two relaxer/texturizer applications. It was great for about a week (very soft) but then it turned into a dry tangled mess. I use Phyto index II now.

If you think Affirm is drying Mizani is worse. It is a very drying to my 3c/4a hair!

I used it for the first time last touchup and I love it! I used Mizani Lye Super. I never used Affirm so I can't compare. But Mizani left my hair very soft and silky. And it didn't burn. It didn't get my hair bone straight, but I've come to the conclusion that nothing will. I bought the small bucket (I think 30 oz.) for $20 from my BSS. I think I can get 4 touchups out of it.

Mizani didn't work for me. The first couple of days it seemed fine, but it quickly became very dry and my roots were still hella thick. I use and like Affirm though, so I'm not sure if my experience should hold any weight. Are you using both the protecto and the reconstructer? Skipping steps may effect the final result.
