Has anyone tried this? (or any other ceramide rich oil?) What were your results?

I haven't tried (as you know...lol) but I am researching relaxers at the moment and am thinking of using Optimum Care Relaxer because it contains a synthetic ceramide complex. You may remember from my blog post (or not) that synthetic ceramides are proportionally more effective then natural ceramides. Just my 2 cents.

Interested to hear if there are other responses....

I've never tried it, but I used to put Olive Oil in mine and my friends relaxer when I do hers. Never had any ill effects, and I could not imagine any from a ceramide rich oil, but then again I can't say!

Optimum is a really good relaxer. If I go back to relaxing, that will be the relaxer that I'd use.

Thanks for the responses ladies! I never knew that about the Optimum relaxers but aren't they no-lye? I have been using lye relaxers and actually prefer them...

And I will definitely check out that thread!

Thanks again!

vtoodler sorry for the late response... I hardly ever visit LHCF via the web

But hemp seed is definitely my favorite oil; I ended up using 1/8 cup of EVOO and 1/8 cup of hemp seed oil and it came out fine; actually processed me straighter than I usually like...
