who uses it?
im not a mixed chick but the ad at the top of the page has me wondering about it. im actually relaxed but i normally relax 2x a year so im thinking the deep conditioner is prolly the bomb on the two textures. and it prolly gives amazing moisture for the up coming cold months.

so who uses it?
is it a staple?
what products do you use?

I read the product review, and am natural with mixed chick hair. I am thinking about purchasing it. (cheaper alternative to Mega Tek) I need a moisturizer to keep my hair calm. However, I have used Mega Tek cell rebuilder in a cream form and it has worked wonders, and contrary to what I have read here, I use it as a leave on daily with no problems.

I am interested in the response from users too. Anyone out there?

I read something about Blended Beauty Hair Care Products, sounds like the same type of product......anyone have info on Blended Beauty Hair Care Products while we are on the topic?

WOW, I was hoping there'd be more response to this ? For once, I searched b4 asking a ? and lo and behold this was here, but it appears no one uses MC???????????

I am going to purchase some for my son he has very golden colored mixed hair I use peppermint/tea tree on him now but he could use more moisture. I will update after I try it on him.

I've used some samples of the leave-in.....really it was no different than leaving regular conditioner in your hair.

I've never used mixed chicks though they have some really informative videos on YouTube. Blended Beauty, I have used and love. They are the bomb and I may go back to them for the winter when I wear my hair curly. The product range is phenomenal and they do it without mineral oil, petrolatum, or 'cones.. all of which my hair doesn't like.

My mom uses the conditioner and imo it is kinda expensive but since she does NOTHING to her hair I guess its alright. I personally dont see any big difference to her hair but it is well moisturized on the days she "remembers" to use it.

i've only used the deep conditioner. i have no interest in the other products. i love the smell and consistency of the deep condish and it does help with making my hair more manageable (might be the cones). I'm trying to use some other stuff up first but i might repurchase just for the smell and cones. Its $15 around my way and the ingredients dont seem any better than pantene, but still i like it for some weird reason...im pretty sure its just (like i said) the smell and cones - lol.

I use Blended Cutie though but they work the same. I just  the Blended Cutie scent more than the Blended Beauty.

I've only used their leave-in conditioner. It's "acceptable", but nothing to rave about. No different than most. It's a pretty thick consistency. Would never replace something, like say, Elucence MBC. But it might be something I revisit a little more this winter as the weather gets colder and my hair likes heavier products.

Now the BSS carries the entire Mixed chicks line. I bought, used it, and my hair hated it. :angry2: Don't get me wrong it goes on smooth, but when it dries it dried my hair out right along with it. :nono: $20 down the drain but my sister loves it so I'll give it to her. :)

so i tried my samples FINALLY! two friggin months later. the shampoo, although im sure it has a sulfate didn't leave my hair too dry or stripped. the deep condish was HEAVENLY going in and rinsing out! the leave in went on smooth...just did a check and my hair is drying spirally and not frizzing up so so far so good...

i tried the samples when i first bc ....it was ok idk i may revisit later gave me good curl definition but was crunchy the first day

blended beauty is just "ok". I like the happy nappy and the leave-in and the curly frizz pudding. What i dislike? The new scent sucks, compared to the dreamy old one. Also, the products likes to get white, meaning it doesn;t fully absorb. Like if you get your hair wet or sweat, it will get white looking. Also, it does NOT play nice with other products, especially gels. You WILL get the cottage cheese effect.

I tried the leave in and I didnt like it. It really dried my hair out and actually left it frizzier than usual.

my hair feels a little hard but i always use extra leave in, and then my hair softens up after a few days. it's not bad though!
