Ok this for any 4a 4b naturals who has used Mixed Chicks products could you tell me the pros and cons I have been wanting to try it but I just don't know and I am sorry if this has been asked be for the search is not working

I used they leave in on my daughter's hair, her hair is 3b-3c but it didnt do much for it. I don't know if I used it incorrectly...I doubt it. I gave it to my friend who had better success on her children's hair, their textures are range from 2c-3c.

Never used it, but I was pretty thrown off due to the 'mix chick' title, and the fact that i dont have 3a-3b hair type.

i only saw the need to try the deep conditioner. i love the smell and it gives good slip but the ingredients arent spectacular. i cannot use it with my BKT.
i am a 3c with some 4a

i used the same and got good curls but they had crunch but i was able to have 2nd daycurls by just spritzing with water...i dont think its worth the hype i have other products that work the same

I know this is old but what other products work the same that I can buy in the store without hold? Because I have Donna Marie CoCo curly butter but it has too much hold in it I don't like my hair hard.

I dont know what the coco curly butter is like or what product of mixed chicks exactly you want smthg comparable to (as far as i know, they do not have any butters) but i would suggest Aveda Universal Styling Creme (although the smell is like a spa smell to me - which i dont like) or Curls Whipped Creme - smells great. Neither one should leave your hair hard.

:grin:Well since this post I have been using the whole set of mix chicks. I wanted to say that I love it. That is all I use on my hair now except me co washing everyday. I use pre poos before I wash with the shampoo but you only have to wash like once a week. you can use the deep condish when you co wash and then the leave in and just go. Finger through your hair without the comb, once it dry you have beautiful curls.

I have tried the leave in last year on my 4b/c natural hair. Didn't help at all. I even noticed breakage and stopped using it.
I revisited it last week on my newly texlaxed hair, still doing nothing but breakage for me. I am about to throw it away.

I tried the entire product line (shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in) for about a month and a half. I loved it...at first. With continued use, the silicone (I think it's dimeth) was way too heavy for my hair and did not wash out well. So even with using the shampoo weekly, I still had build up. It was weird. Maybe it would work better with regular clarifying, but I do not like heavy products and build up in my hair.

(my hair is fine, 3c, but very dense)

I found that watching the video on how to use the product with differect types of hair worked for me. Some may have to wash their hair more and I really don't think it is for someone who wants to comb their hair. If you are a wash and go type person then I think it will work for you. But I don't think it is for someone who is trying to use it in their hair and then want to be combing through their hair through out the day. And you do have to wet your hair everyday. I also think that if you are not looking for the curly look then you should not use it and I think you have to use all the products not just one. I was having that problem with other products not working on my hair for the look I was trying to get. By using a whole set it has allowed me to get what I was looking for.

I've used Mixed Chicks and loved it. Although I am texlaxed it did bring out more curl definition and I found that my hair seemed to be in better condition after each application. It's really easy to apply and last me about 3-4 days, I like the versitility it gives me.
